Figurals

I also add figural or whimsy pieces to the puzzles I cut!  Figurals are simply little cut-out pieces that have very distinct shapes. Below is a picture of some figurals from a puzzle I cut.  I like to use figurals that fit with theme of the puzzle.

Swirl Cut Puzzles

In Swirl Cut Puzzles the puzzle pieces have swirls that replace the traditional hook & knob design.  This makes a more interesting puzzle and also adds to the puzzle's difficulty.  The photo below has some examples of pieces from a Swirl Cut puzzle.

Photo Collage
